As an international organization with 88 locations worldwide, Benteler has a complex structure with very different regional certification requirements. In order to meet the high requirements in this case, careful and individual documentation is required. The audit and documentation costs are correspondingly high.

In addition, regional contacts had to be reliably integrated into processes, which meant intensive challenges in the areas of communication and management.

Last but not least, the complex reporting obligations to stakeholders and regulatory authorities increased the customer's demands and expectations of the new Athereon GRC software solution.

In view of the customer's individual requirements, Athereon GRC implemented an ISMS-focused asset management with direct connection to the EAM application via API.

Athereon GRC Compliance Management created synergy effects when documenting related requirement catalogs that save time and effort. With the Athereon GRC Smart Questionnaires, an additional cross-site analysis of compliance coverage can now be carried out.

Integrated risk management with automated workflows makes it possible to directly involve stakeholders. The planning and execution of complex, global audits is now carried out in a structured and clear manner using Athereon GRC audit management.

By implementing Athereon GRC, the customer now benefits from a real-time overview of the global compliance and risk situation at any time. The documentation of OT requirement catalogs and customer-specific requirements could be implemented in a time-efficient manner using Athereon GRC Smart Questionnaires and linked compliance standards. The reduction in costs through marketed workflows and direct involvement of all relevant stakeholders is clearly noticeable.
