Complex reporting obligations

As an international organization with 88 locations worldwide, Benteler has a complex structure with very different regional certification requirements. In order to meet the high requirements in this case, careful and individual documentation is necessary. The auditing and documentation effort is correspondingly high.

In addition, regional contacts had to be reliably integrated into processes, which posed significant challenges in terms of communication and management.

Last but not least, the complex reporting obligations to stakeholders and regulatory authorities increased the customer's demands and expectations for the new Athereon GRC software solution.

Global audits and synergies

In view of the customer's individual requirements, an ISMS-focused asset management system with direct connection to the EAM application via API was implemented using Athereon GRC.

Athereon GRC's compliance management has created synergies in the documentation of related requirements catalogs, saving time and effort. Athereon GRC Smart Questionnaires now also enable cross-site analysis of compliance coverage.

Integrated risk management with automated workflows enables direct stakeholder involvement. Planning and conducting complex, global audits is now structured and transparent with Athereon GRC's audit management.

By implementing Athereon GRC, the customer now benefits from a real-time overview of the global compliance and risk situation at all times. The documentation of OT requirement catalogs and customer-specific requirements was implemented in a time-efficient manner using Athereon GRC's Smart Questionnaires and linked compliance standards. The reduction in effort through smart workflows and direct involvement of all relevant stakeholders is evident and noticeable.
